Job Purpose: Acuity Knowledge Partners is seeking a highly experienced and results-oriented Delivery Manager to lead and drive strategic projects within our Investment Banking team, specifically for the Equity Capital Markets (ECM) and Debt Capital Markets (DCM) desks of a global investment bank. This pivotal role requires exceptional leadership, robust project management skills, deep domain expertise, and a proven ability to manage client relationships and mentor a high-performing team. Key Responsibilities: As a Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for the overall strategic direction, quality assurance, and successful delivery of projects, while fostering strong client relationships and leading a team of talented analysts. Your responsibilities will include: Strategic Leadership & Client Management: - Client Relationship Ownership: Building and nurturing strong, long-term relationships with key client stakeholders, understanding their evolving needs, and ensuring their satisfaction with our services. - Project Oversight: Providing end-to-end strategic oversight and management for multiple complex ECM and DCM projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives and Acuity's standards. - Service Expansion: Identifying opportunities to expand service offerings and deliver greater value to clients based on their strategic priorities. - Quality Assurance: Implementing rigorous quality control processes to ensure all deliverables are accurate, insightful, and professionally presented. Equity Capital Markets (ECM) Leadership: - Project Direction: Providing strategic direction and ensuring the impeccable execution of all ECM-related projects, from initial scoping to final delivery. - High-Impact Deliverables: Overseeing the development of high-impact pitch books, detailed company-focused discussion documents, and comprehensive analyses of precedent equity offerings. - Advanced Deliverable Management: Leading the team in producing sophisticated ECM deliverables, including: - Strategic capital market updates and insightful newsletters. - Advanced shareholder/ownership analysis with actionable recommendations. - In-depth IPO comparables and market opportunity analysis. - Comprehensive analysis of new equity issuances and their market implications. - Complex capital structure analysis and optimization strategies. - Detailed investor analysis and strategic profiles. - Robust ECM transaction case studies and league table analysis. - Market Insight: Leveraging deep expertise in capital markets, equity offerings, and equity-linked offerings (e.g., convertible bonds) to guide research, formulate strategic recommendations, and provide value-added insights to clients. Debt Capital Markets (DCM) Leadership: - Project Execution Excellence: Ensuring the flawless execution of DCM projects, maintaining accuracy, completeness, and adherence to tight deadlines. - Complex Document Development: Guiding the preparation of intricate pitch books, advanced capital structure analysis, detailed debt profiles, comprehensive credit memos, persuasive sales memos, and impactful roadshow presentations. - Strategic Analytical Oversight: Directing the creation of sophisticated issuer/target related analyses, including: - In-depth market analyses and competitive landscapes. - Detailed company profiles with strategic implications. - Comprehensive credit highlights and rigorous balance sheet analyses. - Expert credit ratings assessment and impact analysis. - Strategic competitive benchmarking. - Market Intelligence & Commentary: Leading the development of high-value market updates and newsletters, providing expert commentary, critical trading level analysis, timely updates on recent issuances, and strategic assessment of major economic events. Required Background: - Education: MBA / CFA / CA / Graduate degree from a reputable institution. - Experience: 6-8 years of relevant experience in a leadership or senior role within an Investment Banking team, boutique firm, KPO, consultancy, or advisory firm, with extensive exposure to Equity Capital Markets and Debt Capital Markets. - Leadership & Management: Proven track record of successfully managing projects, leading teams, and applying strategic insights to complex client ideas on a day-to-day basis. - Deep Domain Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of capital markets, equity offerings, and equity-linked offerings, including the convertible bond market. - Advanced Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Exceptional statistical and analytical skills to assess economic performance and provide strategic analysis of companies and industries for clients. - Independence & Initiative: Ability to work independently, demonstrating strong initiative and proactive problem-solving. - Communication: Excellent written and spoken communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with clients and present complex information clearly and persuasively. - Database Expertise: Expert working knowledge of financial databases such as Factset, Dealogic, CapitalIQ, Bloomberg, Thomson Research, and Morningstar. - MS Office Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, and MS Word, with the ability to create highly professional and impactful deliverables.
