The Opportunity: We are seeking an experienced and highly capable Delivery Lead to manage and oversee our Regulatory Reporting Operations and Coordination function in Bangalore. This is a critical leadership role for a professional with 5 to 6 years of experience who can ensure the smooth, timely, and accurate delivery of regulatory reporting obligations through effective team management, process oversight, and stakeholder coordination. Experience: 5 - 6 years Location: Bangalore Role & Responsibilities: As a Delivery Lead, you will be responsible for the overall operational efficiency and successful delivery of regulatory reporting compilations, managing processes and leading a dedicated team. Your responsibilities will include: - Oversee the end-to-end operational delivery of various regulatory reporting cycles, ensuring all coordination, data collection, and review processes are executed flawlessly and on schedule. - Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of associates, assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and fostering a collaborative and high-performing operational environment. - Maintain a comprehensive understanding of regulatory reporting processes and controls. - Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and risks, then drive initiatives for process optimization, standardization, and automation (from an operational perspective). - Act as a central point of contact for internal and external stakeholders (e.g., Compliance, Finance, Risk departments, external auditors). - Ensure clear communication regarding reporting status, requirements, and any operational challenges. - Establish and enforce robust quality assurance procedures for report review. - Proactively identify potential operational risks in the reporting process and implement mitigation strategies. - Lead the investigation and resolution of operational issues, data discrepancies, or process breakdowns related to regulatory reporting, ensuring timely corrective actions. - Develop and present operational performance metrics, status reports, and key insights to senior management, highlighting delivery progress and any areas for attention. - Ensure comprehensive documentation of all operational procedures, work instructions, and best practices. - Facilitate knowledge transfer within the team. - Ensure strict adherence to internal policies, external regulatory guidelines, and audit requirements in all operational activities. Key Requirements & Qualifications: - 5 to 6 years of progressive experience in an operational, project coordination, or team lead role within the financial services industry, preferably with exposure to compliance or reporting functions. - Master's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Finance, or a related field. - Proven experience in leading, managing, or supervising a team, with strong capabilities in task delegation, performance monitoring, and team development. - Excellent understanding of operational processes, control frameworks, and experience in driving process improvements. - Exceptional organizational, planning, and project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple deliverables concurrently. - Superior verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex operational issues and solutions clearly and professionally to diverse audiences. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify root causes of operational issues and implement effective solutions. - Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for reporting, documentation, and presentations. - Experience with workflow management tools is a plus. - Meticulous attention to detail and an unwavering commitment to operational excellence and accuracy. Desired Skills: - Familiarity with financial regulations or reporting cycles - Experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall). - Exposure to change management principles. - Master's degree is preferred
