Job Purpose: Acuity Knowledge Partners is looking for a seasoned and highly motivated Delivery Lead to work dedicatedly for the Project Financing team of a global investment bank. This critical role involves leading the creation of complex financial models, independently validating and updating existing models, and preparing comprehensive client materials with underlying assumptions and outcomes in Word and PowerPoint. You will be instrumental in ensuring high client satisfaction through exceptional quality and proactive engagement. Key Responsibilities: Advanced Financial Model Leadership: - Lead the development, building, and validation of highly complex project financial models designed to evaluate diverse project investment scenarios. - Oversee models that encompass intricate project cash flow modeling, sophisticated debt capacity modeling, and advanced tax equity modeling, particularly relevant to US power and infrastructure projects. - Independently structure models through strategic discussions with onshore bankers, adopting a suggestive and consultative approach, and ensuring flawless execution with excellent quality to guarantee "high client satisfaction." Strategic Deal Material & Memos: - Prepare and review critical deal-related memos, including comprehensive credit approval memos and detailed investment memorandums. - Ensure all documentation is robust, accurate, and aligned with client expectations. Client Relationship Management & Needs Assessment: - Demonstrate significant strength and flair in client/requester relationship building and management, fostering trusted partnerships. - Proactively assess information and knowledge needs, translating them into effective research and modeling strategies. - Serve as a key point of contact, ensuring seamless communication and delivery of insights. Required Background: - Education: MBA, CFA, or CA qualification is mandatory. - Experience: 6-10 years of extensive relevant experience in Power (including Renewable Energy like Solar and Wind) or Infrastructure projects within an investment banking division of a bank, boutique firm, KPO, consultancy, or advisory firm. - Analytical & Strategic Skills: Strong analytical and statistical skills to deeply assess and understand complex project investment structures, government regulations/policies, and industry dynamics, crucial for leading model preparation and assumption development. - Leadership & Independence: A proven self-starter with a strong ability to work independently, lead projects, and guide execution. - Communication: Excellent written and spoken communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts clearly and persuasively to senior stakeholders. Technical Proficiency: - MS Excel: Excellent proficiency is a must, with a strong ability to create and manage complex financial models; ability to create macros would be a significant advantage. - MS PowerPoint & Word: High proficiency in these applications for preparing professional and visually appealing client deliverables
