Actuarial Professional - General Insurance

About the Role:

We are currently seeking Actuarial professionals with a strong background in General Insurance to join our growing actuarial team in Mumbai and Bangalore.

This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about building a long-term career in Actuarial Science, specifically within the Property & Casualty (P&C) domain.

You will be involved in projects related to Reserving, Pricing, and other core actuarial functions, while working in a hybrid model aligned with the UK shift.

Key Responsibilities:

- Work on actuarial assignments related to P&C insurance, with a focus on Reserving and Pricing.

- Support in the development and maintenance of actuarial models for claims reserving, loss forecasting, and pricing strategies.

- Analyze large datasets to produce actionable insights and support decision-making processes.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including underwriters, finance, and risk management.

- Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal governance standards.

- Document methodologies and results clearly for internal stakeholders and audit requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- 2 to 8 years of relevant experience in General Insurance (Pension and Life Insurance experience will not be considered).

- Minimum 2 Actuarial papers cleared.

- Solid experience in one or more of the following areas:

- P&C Insurance

- Reserving

- Pricing

- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Demonstrated career stability in previous roles.

- Willingness and enthusiasm to build a long-term career in Actuarial science.
