Actuarial Analyst Specialist - Insurance

Key responsibilities:

- Help in Institutionalizing the Reserving and Reporting practices within the Company

- Help Finance Team in designing the IFRS17 flow for the future accounting purposes

- In-time, become responsible for the complete process and professional development of all the reports and processes and institute a succession plan

- Help in setting up the Portfolio Monitoring Process to monitor the performance of Products and AvE on all the key pricing assumptions

- Develop an understanding of the business and provide inputs in the product designing and Actuarial Pricing of all new products

- Help in setting up the complete Data Process Flow and Data Governance to help capture the good quality data which will then be used for Predictive Modelling

Exercises

- Be able to work on Large Data Sets using Python or R

- Gather, analyse, and model data using analytical tools and techniques to develop business insights to drive decisions

- Ability to lead initiatives and deliver results by engaging with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders including Finance, Risk, Underwriting, Technology

Development, Product Development etc.

- Responsible for adhering to information security guidelines.

- Bachelor / Master's degree in Maths/Stats/Finance/Economics/Commerce

- Good Progress in Actuarial Exams (Preferrable: Atleast CT / CP series already cleared either from IAI / IFOA or any other appropriate institutions)

- Excellent Excel Skills

- Standout Areas: Have working knowledge of R / Python / SAS / Any other appropriate coding skills

- Strong ownership mindset and passion for independent, creative problem solving
