Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Associate Director - Projects to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple interior fitout projects. This role requires a seasoned professional with strong project management capabilities, client relationship skills, and proven track record in delivering complex interior construction projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management & Execution:

- Lead end-to-end delivery of multiple interior fitout projects across corporate, hospitality, healthcare, and housing sectors

- Develop comprehensive project execution plans including timelines, resource allocation, and risk. management strategies

- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meeting quality standards

- Coordinate with design, procurement, engineering, and site execution teams for seamless project delivery

- Monitor project progress through regular site visits, reviews, and milestone tracking

- Implement best practices and standardized processes for project execution

Client Management & Relationship Building:

- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout project lifecycle

- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their requirements and expectations

- Conduct regular client meetings, provide project updates, and manage communication protocols

- Address client concerns proactively and ensure high satisfaction levels

- Identify opportunities for repeat business and client retention

- Represent the company professionally in client interactions and project reviews

Team Leadership & Development:

- Lead and mentor project managers, site engineers, and project coordinators

- Build high-performing project teams through effective coaching and talent development

- Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback

- Foster collaborative team culture focused on excellence and accountability

- Allocate resources effectively across multiple projects

Quality & Compliance Management:

- Ensure adherence to quality standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements

- Implement quality control processes and conduct regular audits

- Manage project documentation, approvals, and statutory compliance

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in project delivery processes

- Ensure alignment with company standards and client specifications

Financial & Commercial Management:

- Manage project budgets, cost controls, and financial performance

- Review and approve project expenses, variations, and change orders

- Ensure accurate project cost tracking and timely invoicing

- Collaborate with finance team for budget management and profitability optimization

- Handle commercial negotiations and resolve payment-related matters

Stakeholder Coordination:

- Coordinate with consultants, vendors, contractors, and regulatory authorities

- Manage relationships with PMCs, architects, and third-party service providers

- Facilitate effective communication between internal departments and external stakeholders

- Resolve coordination challenges and ensure alignment across project teams.

Required Qualifications:

Experience:

- 10-15 years of experience in interior fitout project management with D&B companies or general contractors

- Proven track record of successfully delivering projects worth - 10-50 crores

- Experience managing multiple concurrent projects across different sectors

- Strong background in client-facing roles with relationship management responsibilities

- Experience leading teams of 15-25 members.

Skills & Competencies:

- Excellent project management and organizational skills

- Strong client relationship management and communication abilities

- Leadership and team development capabilities

- Problem-solving and decision-making under pressure

- Commercial acumen and financial management skills

- Proficiency in MS Project, AutoCAD, and project management tools

- Understanding of construction contracts, specifications, and regulatory requirements

Education:

- B.E./B.Tech in Civil/Mechanical Engineering, or B.Arch/M.Arch

- MBA or PMP certification preferred

- Additional certifications in project management or construction management valued
