Aceolution - Vendor Contracts Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Vendor Contracts Manager to join our Climate Ops team.

This role is responsible for managing and tracking third-party engagements throughout the contracting lifecycle, from contract development to invoicing, ensuring compliance with legal and finance standards, and keeping all stakeholders informed and aligned.

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with strong communication skills, capable of navigating complex corporate processes and driving engagements forward in a timely manner.


Key Responsibilities:

- Review and address all emails and messages at the start of the day to identify updates and action items for 15 third-party engagements.

- Document the progress of each engagement, including next steps, responsible parties, and follow-up timelines.

- Provide insight and guidance to Climate Ops team members on appropriate next steps and facilitate their execution.

- Collaborate with internal teams, loop in the correct stakeholders, and chase down answers to contracting-related questions.

- Ensure that all contracts adhere to standard legal and finance terms.

- Act as the liaison between Google Legal and suppliers for contract-related matters.

- Utilize internal systems to:

- Assess risk and ensure compliance.

- Request legal assistance.

- Create purchase requests and orders.

- Generate NDAs.

- Track the status of purchase requests, purchase orders, and invoices, and follow up to ensure timely processing and supplier payment.

- Respond promptly to ad-hoc requests and questions.

- Monitor ongoing and new engagements throughout the day to ensure they move forward efficiently.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Excellent organizational and task management skills: ability to track multiple engagements simultaneously and ensure timely follow-ups.

- Strong ability to navigate complex corporate processes and work across multiple systems and teams.

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills: able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.

- Problem-solving mindset: capable of not only answering direct questions but also identifying potential issues and proposing solutions.

- Self-starter attitude: able to independently recognize needs, anticipate potential challenges, and take proactive action.

- Ability to remember and explain long, detailed processes to others in a clear and concise manner.
