
Director - Program Delivery
Work Location: Hyderabad or Chennai (open to Bengaluru, Mumbai, Pune, NCR)
Work Arrangement: Requires a minimum of 9 working days per month from the Chennai office, with the remaining days flexible to be worked from any of the other listed locations.
Reports to: VP - Program Delivery
About the Role:
- The Director - Program Delivery will be responsible for leading the successful delivery of multiple software implementation projects, ensuring alignment with client expectations, timelines, and quality standards.
- This role will work closely with cross-functional teams including product engineering, SQA, and client stakeholders to drive execution excellence and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the delivery of multiple concurrent software projects, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and quality.
- Collaborate with clients, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to define and manage
delivery plans.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with Acentra's delivery frameworks, governance models, and quality standards.
- Support the VP in defining and executing technical and delivery strategies.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across delivery processes and tools.
- Manage and mentor a team of project managers, solution leads, and delivery staff.
- Contribute to RFP/RFI responses and client solutioning efforts.
- Ensure effective stakeholder communication and reporting.
Qualifications:
- 18+ years of experience in software delivery, with at least 7+ years in a leadership role.
- Strong background in program/project management, preferably in the Healthcare IT domain.
- Proven experience in Agile methodologies and SDLC best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale, complex software implementations.
- Experience working in a global delivery model (onsite-offshore).
- Strong understanding of delivery metrics, estimation, and risk management.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (BE/B.Tech preferred).
