Accounts Lead - Aviation

Location: Lagos, Nigeria

Experience: 08-16 Years

Prefer Industry: Aviation /Charter / Ground Handling / Airport Operations/Travel/Aerospace

Qualification: CA/CMA

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage billing for charter flights, including landing, parking, handling, navigation & operational charges

- Validate invoices from ground handling companies, airport authorities, ATC, MRO, fuel vendors, catering, flight support partners

- Review flight movement logs (ETA/ETD) and prepare sector-wise cost sheets

- Handle international vendor payments, forex exposure & cross-border settlements

- Oversee Accounts Payable processes and maintain accuracy in vendor invoices

- Reconcile IATA/BSP, fuel vendor statements, handling agent invoices & airport charges

- Prepare MIS, AP ageing, cost analysis & month-end financial reporting

- Ensure compliance with Nigerian tax laws, internal controls & audit requirements

- Coordinate closely with airport operations, ground handlers, charter clients, and internal stakeholders

Ideal Candidate

- CA/CMA with 5 years of relevant experience

- Strong understanding of aviation operational billing

- Expertise in AP, reconciliations & vendor management

- Excellent analytical, communication & stakeholder skills

- Experience working with international aviation partners
