
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP/Ind AS and applicable statutory regulations.
- Manage the organization's Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow, ensuring financial accuracy and timely reporting.
- Oversee the month-end and year-end financial close process, ensuring timely completion and reconciliation of all accounts.
- Prepare and present MIS reports, financial analysis, and key performance metrics to support strategic business decisions.
- Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process, monitor budget variances, and provide actionable financial insights.
- Establish, monitor, and strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, SOPs, and compliance frameworks to ensure operational efficiency and regulatory adherence.
- Perform and review bank, customer, vendor, intercompany, and general ledger reconciliations, resolving discrepancies promptly.
- Manage accounts receivable and debtor collection activities, monitor ageing reports, and improve cash flow through effective collection strategies.
- Take ownership of end-to-end accounting operations, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Payroll Accounting, and financial reporting.
- Ensure timely compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, statutory filings, audits, and other regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors during statutory, tax, and internal audits, ensuring timely closure of audit observations.
- Utilize and optimize ERP/Accounting systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, Tally, or similar) to improve reporting accuracy and process efficiency.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and cost optimization to enhance finance operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders to provide financial guidance, support decision-making, and improve overall business performance.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team, ensuring adherence to accounting standards, internal policies, and best practices while driving a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or Accounting is mandatory.
- Chartered Accountant (CA), Cost & Management Accountant (CMA), MBA (Finance), or M.Com preferred.
- 6-10 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS), GAAP, statutory compliance, GST, TDS, and corporate taxation.

- Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, Tally, or similar accounting software.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, Power Query, financial modeling preferred).
- Experience handling statutory, internal, and tax audits.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to lead teams, manage multiple priorities, and drive process improvements.
