Accounting Advisory Role - CA/CPA/ACCA

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting Advisory & Technical Expertise:

- Provide advisory on complex accounting issues under IFRS, Ind AS, and US GAAP

- Assist clients in implementation and transition of new accounting standards

- Offer guidance on revenue recognition, lease accounting, financial instruments, and consolidation

- Support accounting policy design and technical position papers

Financial Reporting & Compliance:

- Review and ensure accuracy of financial statements in compliance with applicable standards

- Support clients in quarterly/year-end reporting and disclosures

- Assist in resolving audit queries and liaising with external auditors

Transaction & Deal Support:

- Provide accounting support for M&A transactions, carve-outs, and restructuring

- Conduct financial due diligence from an accounting perspective

- Advise on purchase price allocation (PPA) and post-deal integration

Client & Stakeholder Management:

- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, including CFOs and finance leadership teams

- Manage multiple client engagements and ensure timely delivery

- Lead discussions and present technical insights to senior stakeholders

Team Leadership:

- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of professionals

- Review team deliverables and ensure quality and consistency

- Drive knowledge sharing and capability building within the team

Required Candidate Profile:

Experience: 12-13 years in Accounting Advisory / Audit / Financial Reporting

Qualification: CA / CPA / ACCA or equivalent

- Strong expertise in IFRS / Ind AS / US GAAP

- Prior experience in Big4 or leading consulting firms preferred

- Proven experience in managing client engagements and leading teams

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Skills:

- Experience in handling cross-border engagements

- Exposure to M&A accounting and transaction advisory

- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
