Key responsibilities:
- Accurately recording all financial transactions, including income, expenses, assets, and liabilities.
- Creating reports like balance sheets, income statements (profit and loss), and cash flow statements.
- Comparing and verifying financial records with bank statements and other relevant documents to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Identifying trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement by examining financial information.
- Ensuring that the organization adheres to all relevant financial regulations, tax laws, and accounting standards.
- Calculating and filing income tax returns and other relevant tax documents.
- Assisting in the development of budgets and forecasts, and monitoring financial performance against these plans.
- Excellent Tally knowledge
- Excellent Microsoft excel skills
- Must be able to independently prepare PL, BS, Cash flow statement, Chart of accounts, MIS
- Vendor reconciliation / account payable
- Finalizations and taxation
