About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Accountant Head to lead the finance and accounting operations of a multi-specialty hospital. The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial planning, budgeting, compliance, audits, and overseeing all accounting functions to ensure accuracy, transparency, and adherence to healthcare financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage the hospital's overall accounting and finance operations.

- Prepare and review financial statements, MIS reports, and monthly/annual financial closures.

- Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and cost-control strategies.

- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF/ESI, and other healthcare-related financial obligations.

- Oversee billing processes, revenue cycle management, and internal financial controls.

- Coordinate with internal and external auditors and ensure timely audits.

- Manage vendor payments, receivables, payables, and cash flow.

- Implement best practices for financial efficiency and process improvement.

- Provide financial insights to management for strategic decision-making.

- Lead the finance team, supervise daily operations, and ensure accuracy in all financial transactions.

Required Skills & Competencies:

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, hospital finance, and statutory compliance.

- Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, ERP systems, or healthcare billing tools).

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.

- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.

- High attention to detail and ability to work under tight timelines.

Eligibility Criteria:

- CA qualified (mandatory).

- Minimum 5+ years of experience, preferably in a hospital or healthcare financial environment.
