Sales Account Manager


About the Role:

We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Sales Account Manager to manage client accounts, build strong relationships, and drive sales growth.

The ideal candidate will serve as the main point of contact for assigned customers, understand their business needs, and provide tailored solutions to maximize client satisfaction and company revenue.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage and nurture relationships with assigned client accounts to ensure long-term satisfaction and retention.

- Understand client needs, business goals, and industry trends to offer relevant products and solutions.

- Develop and execute account plans and sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.

- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling within existing accounts.

- Act as the liaison between clients and internal teams (sales, customer support, product development) to ensure timely delivery and resolution of issues.

- Prepare and present sales proposals, quotations, and contracts.

- Monitor account performance, track sales metrics, and report on account status and forecasts.

- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align on campaigns and new product launches.

- Handle client inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally and efficiently.

- Conduct regular meetings and reviews with clients to build trust and strengthen relationships.

- Stay updated with industry developments and competitor activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Bachelor's / master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.

- 3+ years of experience in sales or account management.

- Proven track record of managing key accounts and achieving sales targets.

- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to build rapport and maintain long-term client relationships.

- Good understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.

- Proficient with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

- Results-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
