About the Role:

As an Account Manager specializing in BFSI PR, you will play a key role in managing multiple client accounts and leading a team focused on delivering high-quality communication strategies. You will work closely with business leaders to support critical assignments including crisis and issue management, campaign execution, and business development initiatives. This role offers a great opportunity to grow within a dynamic and fast-paced environment while deepening your expertise in BFSI communications.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage day-to-day client relationships for multiple BFSI accounts, ensuring seamless communication and execution of PR strategies.

- Lead and mentor a small team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and collaboration.

- Support senior leadership in client servicing and strategic decision-making.

- Plan and execute multi-channel PR campaigns including media outreach, thought leadership, events, and digital content.

- Monitor media coverage and provide timely analysis and reporting to clients.

- Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure consistent messaging and on-time delivery.

- Assist in developing and implementing crisis communication plans.

- Provide support during critical situations to manage client reputation and mitigate risks.

- Assist in preparing pitch presentations and proposals for new business opportunities.

- Identify opportunities for expanding existing client relationships through upselling and cross-selling.

- Draft press releases, client briefs, media advisories, and other communication materials with clarity and precision.

- Maintain strong relationships with BFSI media and influencers.

Requirements:

- 3 to 5 years of experience in Public Relations, preferably with exposure to BFSI clients.

- Minimum 1 year experience in managing a team.

- Proven ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously.

- Strong written and oral communication skills with excellent attention to detail.

- Good understanding of BFSI sector, its products, and regulatory environment is highly desirable.

- Ability to work under pressure and handle crisis situations with composure.

- Proficiency with media monitoring tools and MS Office suite.
