Role Overview:
As an Account Manager - Paid Media, you will own client relationships and business performance across key accounts. Your role goes beyond campaign execution - you'll advise founders, CMOs, and marketing leads on how to scale efficiently, connect marketing KPIs to revenue goals, and guide the internal media and analytics teams to deliver business impact.
You'll collaborate with senior strategists to shape account roadmaps, guide measurable experiments, and ensure communication with clients is proactive, structured, and consultative.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Strategy & Communication
- Act as the strategic business partner for clients, leading high- impact discussions with founders and CMOs.
- Translate data insights into business opportunities and clear next steps.
- Drive weekly and monthly performance conversations with clarity and confidence.
- Proactively align media strategy, growth forecasts, and budgets with business goals.
- Build trust by simplifying complex performance insights into clear storytelling.
Business & Performance Management
- Own client P&L on ad investments - design growth- efficient plans balancing ROI, CAC, and payback.
- Review platform performance across Google, Meta, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
- Identify levers for scale, efficiency, and creative improvement.
- Present performance reports that lead to action - not just data dumps.
Team & Execution Leadership
- Coordinate seamlessly between clients, media teams, and creative leads.
- Translate strategic direction into actionable briefs and deliverables.
- Ensure campaigns are executed, optimized, and quality- checked before client presentation.
- Coach junior associates on client communication, presentation, and analytical storytelling.
Process, Systems & Innovation
- Build structured playbooks and SOPs for reporting, communication, and performance reviews.
- Contribute to automation and dashboard initiatives improving decision- making transparency.
- Drive cross- team collaboration ensuring consistent growth processes across accounts.
Who You Are:
- 4-8 years in performance marketing, account management, or growth consulting (agency experience preferred).
- Strong understanding of media strategy, attribution, and funnel metrics - but driven by business outcomes, not platform performance alone.
- Demonstrated experience managing - 50L- 2Cr+ monthly ad spends.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; confident with senior stakeholder management.
- Analytical and commercially minded - able to read a P&L or spot channel inefficiencies quickly.
- Skilled at framing insights in business language that inspires client decisions.
- Experience mentoring small teams or managing cross- functional communication workflows.
Preferred Plus:
- Exposure to D2C, SaaS, or healthcare verticals.
- Familiarity with automation/reporting tools (GA4, Supermetrics, Looker Studio).
- Understanding of attribution frameworks (blended ROAS, payback period, MTA).
- Comfort using Slack, Asana/ ClickUp for collaboration.
