Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Account Manager Finance & Compliance to oversee end-to end financial operations and statutory compliance for the Bangalore office. This role requires strong expertise in corporate accounting, taxation, audit readiness, and compliance governance, with hands-on ownership of finance processes.

The ideal candidate will bring a structured approach to financial control, compliance integrity, and stakeholder management, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and adherence to regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Operations & Accounting

- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate transactions.

- Manage expense accounting, vendor payments, and customer invoicing.

- Ensure accurate month-end and year-end closures in line with accounting standards.

- Implement and maintain robust accounting systems and internal controls.

Taxation & Statutory Compliance

- Handle end-to-end compliance related to:

- GST (returns, reconciliations, audits)

- TDS (deductions, filings, reconciliations)

- Other statutory and regulatory requirements

- Ensure timely filing of statutory returns and compliance with applicable laws.

- Act as the point of contact for tax consultants and regulatory authorities.

Audit & Governance

- Ensure audit preparedness and coordinate with internal and external auditors.

- Support statutory, tax, and internal audits by providing accurate documentation and explanations.

- Strengthen financial governance, controls, and compliance frameworks.

Vendor & Customer Management

- Manage vendor and customer accounts, including reconciliations and dispute resolution.

- Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, vendors, and customers.

Reporting & MIS

- Prepare and review financial reports, MIS, and compliance dashboards.

- Provide insights to management on financial performance, risks, and compliance status.

- Support leadership with data-driven financial analysis and reporting.

Key Requirements:

- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with up to 8 years of post-qualification experience.

- Mandatory experience in a Buying House or Export House environment.

- Strong hands-on knowledge of GST, TDS, corporate accounting, and statutory compliance.

- Experience managing AP/AR, audits, and financial reporting.

- Strong understanding of internal controls, compliance integrity, and governance.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

- High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
