ROLE PROFILE: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as an ESG Account Manager in the Technology Practice. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of ESG principles and their application within the technology sector. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing relationships with technology clients, understanding their ESG needs, and ensuring the successful delivery of ESG services. This role requires a combination of client management skills, ESG expertise, and a proactive approach to drive positive environmental and social impact within the technology industry. Your responsibilities will include but not limited to: Client Relationship Management: - Build and maintain strong relationships with technology clients, understanding their business goals and ESG priorities. - Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, providing updates, and ensuring overall client satisfaction. - Collaborate with clients to identify ESG opportunities and challenges within their operations. ESG Strategy and Consulting: - Provide strategic guidance to clients on integrating ESG principles into their business practices and decision-making processes. - Conduct ESG assessments and audits for technology clients, identifying areas for improvement and recommending sustainable practices. - Collaborate with clients to develop and implement ESG action plans aligned with industry best practices. Project Management: - Oversee the successful execution of ESG projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. - Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including consultants, analysts, and technical experts, to deliver comprehensive ESG solutions. - Track project milestones, report progress to clients, and address any issues or challenges that may arise. Market Research and Industry Trends: - Stay informed about emerging ESG trends, regulations, and reporting standards within the technology sector. - Conduct market research to identify opportunities for expanding ESG services and staying competitive in the industry. Communication and Reporting: - Prepare and deliver client presentations on ESG performance, progress, and recommendations. - Generate reports and documentation to communicate ESG metrics and outcomes to clients and internal stakeholders. Qualifications: - Farming current accounts and growing billability with them would be a key KPI - An MBA degree from premier school would be strongly desirable. - Proven experience in ESG consulting or related fields, with a focus on the technology sector. - Strong understanding of ESG frameworks, standards, and reporting requirements. - Excellent project management and organizational skills. - Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. - Familiarity with technology industry trends, challenges, and sustainability practices. - For the Technology domain, understanding of sustainability needs of clients in the following areas will be important: a. Data centre build out (pre construction permitting, impact assessment etc.) and operations b. Technology/electronics/semiconductor/ EV/battery manufacturing (green field or brown field), assembly and other supply chain requirements of global players in the space c.
