Account Manager


An Account Manager is primarily responsible for nurturing client relationships, ensuring satisfaction, and driving business growth by managing and advising client accounts.

Core Responsibilities:

- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and concerns promptly.

- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships to foster loyalty.

- Oversee account activities, including contract management, renewals, and tracking KPIs.

- Communicate solutions, progress reports, and business updates to clients and internal teams.

- Identify and pursue upsell, cross-sell, and renewal opportunities.

- Collaborate closely with sales, customer support, and product teams to deliver client-focused solutions.

Key Duties:

- Handle client inquiries and resolve complaints efficiently.

- Collect and analyze data about client usage and market trends to anticipate changing needs.

- Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximize client value and company profit.

- Prepare account status reports and forecasts for management.

- Ensure product or service delivery aligns with customer objectives and timelines.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Proven experience in account management, sales, or customer success roles.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Strong negotiation, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

- Familiarity with CRM software and productivity tools (e.g., Excel, Salesforce).

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is generally preferred.
