Job Summary: - Key point of contact on US GAAP Real Estate lease accounting - Responsible for review of Financial analysis used as to support Real Estate business cases - Responsible for ensuring that the contractual terms in Real estate lease contracts are reflected in the US GAAP financial accounts - Responsible for ensuring lease term assessment is GAAP compliant - Key point of contact for Local country teams on US GAAP lease accounting - Responsible for review of Financial analysis - Responsible for ensuring lease term assessment under GAAP has been incorporated into all the financial templates and assumptions - Review all lease incentives to ensure accounted for correctly including incentives in respect of Landlord owned assets - Ensure all US GAAP deliverables due from team are US GAAP compliant and deliverable in a timely manner including deliverables on dilapidations, sub losses, straight lining, space abandonment and lease obligations - Review of month and quarter end US GAAP results, ensuring they are accurate or follow up actions to resolve are closed out efficiently - Ensure team receives appropriate training and direction to perform their roles effectively Key Responsibilities: - Responsible for ensuring that all leases are accounted for in line with Accenture policy and with US GAAP. - Build effective working relationship with local and global leads - Monitor processes with a view for process improvement - This job description reflects management's assignment of essential functions, it does not prescribe or restrict responsibilities that may be assigned Basic Qualification: - Chartered Accountant with 3-6 years experience in a Finance function of reputable corporates or Big 4 accounting firms Skills &amp; Qualifications Required: - US GAAP Accounting background with strong analytical skills - Positive attitude and flexibility. Customer focused. Sense of responsibility, initiative and high quality work standard. Good communication and interpersonal skill - Team worker with ability to coach and motivate team. Fluency in English. Flexibility to work across all time zones and cultures due to global nature of the role .
