What are we looking for?
- Bachelor s degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field
- 15 years of experience in UK Pension, with a proven track record of successfully managing and leading teams.
- Previous experience managing a team of professionals.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively present complex information to a range of audiences.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve operational issues.
- Knowledge of operational best practices, including quality control, performance management, and process improvement
- Proficient in the use of relevant software, including Microsoft Office, project management tools, and other relevant applications.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to collaboration and teamwork.
- Minimum 15 years of service delivery experience, with 10+ years of experience in account leadership role in the UK Pension domain.
- Should have led a 100+ member cross functional team within the UK Pension function. Should have at least run an account independently or a sizeable part of an account for operations and had experience of running operations plus customer engagement.
- Should have extensive hands on operating and domain experience in UK Pension operations with deep expertise in end-to-end Investment Administration covering Limit Reviews, Investment Management , Fee Adjustments, Payment Allocations, Asset Transfer, Corporate actions & Fund Mergers, Bulk Disinvestment, Annual Statements, Data Development, Application and Payment (Investment options and confirmations, Transaction), Income tax submissions and enquiries.
- Good understanding of UK Pension front-to-back platforms. Certifications in the UK Pension will be an added advantage.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of operational front-to-back procedures that support UK Pension operations.
- Strong understanding of various risks spanning across financial reporting, access governance, data security, and privacy and process controls associated with operational
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of UK Pension specialists in providing high-quality services to clients.
- Develop and implement strategies for acquiring and retaining clients.
- Establish and maintain relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction, retention, and growth of the business.
- Conduct regular team meetings to review performance metrics, share best practices, and develop action plans for continuous improvement.
- Providing coaching, training, and mentoring to the team leads to the development of their skills and expertise.
- Collaborate with Internal departments and operations, to ensure the successful execution of business objectives.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the life and retirement landscape, including industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct periodic reviews of client accounts to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Prepare and present reports to senior management on team performance, client satisfaction, and business metrics.
