- We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a TTL Specialist / Manager
- The TTL Specialist / Manager will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of logistics operations, including transportation, classification, record keeping and other trade compliance related matters
- The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service primarily for TTL related topics in Area South Asia (India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, etc) and other allocated countries in future
- This role is pivotal in ensuring that our transportation and logistics activities comply with international trade regulations and company policies
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customs regulations, import/export processes, International Taxation and supply chain logistics
Your Responsibilities:
- Support allocated local divisions/Area with Transportation, Trade Compliance & Logistics (TT&L) issues on day-to-day basis e.g.
- Goods tariffing, origin,
- Free trade agreements,
- Export control,
- Customs documents,
-Interface with customs authorities,
- Logistics - all modes
- Develop and implement trade compliance strategies to ensure adherence to import/export regulations.
- Communicate with logistic partners, carriers, suppliers to arrange transportation and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Oversee utilization of trade facilitation programs and simplified customs and origin procedures (and administrative the respective authorizations)
- Manage/ support local divisions in line with customs/ tax authorities and consultants (as major communication/ interface with customs authorities, e.g., audits, permissions)
- Manage customs clearance processes for international shipments, ensuring timely and accurate documentation in most complaint way.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments of trade compliance processes and activities to ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Optimize transportation routes to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.
- Track shipments and update stakeholders on delivery status.
- Maintain accurate records of all shipments, invoices, and other relevant documentation.
- Challenge existing practices and foster exchange of best practices regarding TT&L
- Provide guidance and training to internal teams on trade compliance best practices.
- Drive the right compliance behavior/ process for TT&L
- Work closely with procurement, Logistics, Taxation, Finance, Operations, Legal & Integrity and supply chain teams to streamline processes and reduce compliance risks.
- Stay updated on changes in trade regulations and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders. Proactively partner and drive collaboration with key internal & external stakeholders
- Resolve issues related to Port Logistics, customs delays, duties, and other trade compliance matters.
