Description:

Position Summary:

- We are looking for a senior L&D leader to build and scale the RM Excellence Academy, with a clear mandate to improve RM productivity, certification outcomes, and AUM performance.

- The role owns end-to-end academy strategy, execution, and impact measurement for Relationship Managers catering to HNI clients (110 Cr AUM). The focus is not training hours, but time-to-productivity, certification pass rates, and business outcomes.

- In Year 1, the Academy will certify 200+ RMs through structured cohorts and a 1:4 shadowing model, achieving 90% AMFI/IRDA pass rates and accelerated RM ramp-up.

Key Responsibilities:

1) Academy Strategy & Operations (60%):

- Design and execute the blueprint for the RM Excellence Academy

- Run quarterly cohorts (50 RMs per quarter):

- 2 weeks classroom learning

- 4 weeks on-the-job shadowing

- Ensure RMs achieve peak productivity within 4590 days of onboarding

- Allocate and manage trainers (1:4 ratio)

- Oversee LMS usage, engagement, and cohort logistics (Gurugram + virtual)

2) Business Partnership & Capability Building:

- Partner with CEO, COO, and Business Heads to align L&D with 13 year growth plans

- Conduct gap analysis between current RM capability and future business needs

- Build structured learning paths (Basic, Advanced, Elite) covering:

- Wealth products

- Portfolio management

- Client psychology

- HNI advisory conversations

3) Quality, Compliance & Certification (20%):

- Own certification outcomes for AMFI / IRDA across cohorts

- Ensure 90%+ certification pass rate

- Audit all learning content for SEBI / AMFI compliance

- Drive RM ramp-up to first HNI client within 45 days

4) Analytics, ROI & Reporting (15%):

- Build and present a weekly CEO dashboard covering:

- Certification pass rates

- RM productivity and AUM linkage

- Cost per RM (2530K benchmark)

- Measure training ROI through revenue, retention, and ramp-up metrics

- Drive continuous improvement with:

- NPS > 8.5

- <10% cohort drop-off

5) Team Leadership (5%):

- Lead a 4-member team (2 Trainers + 1 Specialist + support)

- Drive trainer calibration, capability upliftment, and content consistency

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

- Reduced time-to-first HNI deal for new RMs

- Clear correlation between training and RM AUM / revenue uplift

- LMS adoption and cohort engagement rates

- Improved retention of high-performing RMs

- Certification success and compliance adherence

Qualifications & Experience (Must Have):

- 8+ years of L&D experience, with 3+ years in BFSI / Wealth Management

- Strong exposure to RM training, sales enablement, or academy leadership

- AMFI certified (mandatory)

- Train-the-Trainer certification

- Deep understanding of Indian wealth products: MF, PMS, AIFs, Equity

- Strong Excel and reporting skills

- Hands-on experience with LMS and CRM platforms

- Based in or willing to work from Gurugram

- Strong stakeholder management with CXO-level exposure

Ideal Candidate Profile:

- Has built or scaled a sales / RM academy

- Thinks in terms of business impact, not training calendars

- Comfortable being measured on outcomes and ROI

- Can balance compliance rigor with commercial performance

- High ownership mindset
