As an Academic Counselor at WorldEdx, you will play a pivotal role in helping students make informed decisions about their academic and career pathways abroad, ensuring a smooth and successful admission journey.

Key Responsibilities:

- Interact with students and parents to understand their educational background, interests, and study abroad goals.

- Provide personalized counseling and guidance on suitable programs, universities, and countries based on the student's profile and preferences.

- Offer detailed and accurate information about admission requirements, eligibility criteria, application processes, visa procedures, and financial documentation.

- Assist students throughout the entire admission cycle - from shortlisting universities and preparing applications to receiving offers and supporting visa submissions.

- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of global education systems, institutions, and course offerings across countries such as the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, and Europe.

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with students, parents, and institutional partners to ensure a high level of satisfaction and trust.

- Support students in preparing key documents, including statements of purpose (SOPs), letters of recommendation (LORs), and application essays.

- Regularly follow up with students through calls, emails, and meetings to track progress and address queries promptly.

- Participate in educational fairs, seminars, and webinars to represent WorldEdx and engage with potential students.

- Collaborate with internal teams to meet organizational targets and ensure a seamless counseling experience for every student.

What We're Looking For:

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills with the ability to engage confidently with students and parents.

- Strong intent to learn, adapt, and grow within the global education counseling domain.

- Basic understanding of overseas education systems; knowledge of specific countries or universities will be an added advantage.

- A student-focused and empathetic approach with the ability to provide well-informed and unbiased advice.

- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.

- A positive, approachable, and energetic personality that inspires trust and confidence.

- Degree in any discipline (education, management, or related fields preferred).
