About the Role

- Academian is seeking a delivery-focused technology leader with expertise in Product Engineering, Enterprise Architecture, Cloud-Native Platforms, AI/ML, Generative AI, and large-scale technology delivery.

- The role requires close collaboration with Product, Engineering, Solutioning, Delivery, and Business teams to build scalable and innovative enterprise solutions.

- The ideal candidate should have strong experience in architecting and scaling enterprise-grade systems leveraging Generative AI, LLMs, NLP, Computer Vision, Microservices, Cloud Platforms, and DevOps practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Drive technology vision, architecture roadmap, and engineering strategy aligned with business objectives.

- Lead end-to-end delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performing enterprise platforms.

- Collaborate with Sales and Solutioning teams for RFPs, RFIs, technical proposals, PoCs, and client discussions.

- Architect AI/ML-powered enterprise solutions using Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, NLP, AI Agents, and Vector Databases.

- Establish engineering governance, DevOps, CI/CD, monitoring, and operational best practices.

- Mentor and lead high-performing engineering, architecture, and delivery teams.

- Drive cross-functional collaboration across Product, Engineering, QA, DevOps, Delivery, and Business teams.

Required Technical Skills

- Backend Technologies: Java, Python, Node.js, .NET

- Frontend Technologies: ReactJS, Angular

- Cloud & DevOps: AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Infrastructure Automation

- AI/ML Technologies: Generative AI, LLMs, NLP, Computer Vision, RAG, LangChain/LlamaIndex

- Architecture: Microservices, Distributed Systems, Event-Driven Architecture, REST APIs, SQL/NoSQL Databases

Preferred Domain Expertise

- EdTech, SaaS Platforms, Enterprise Platforms, FinTech/Banking Technology, Digital Learning Ecosystems

- Good to Have: LMS/LXP Architecture, SCORM, LTI, xAPI, QTI, OneRoster, ClassLink

Experience & Education

- 15-20 years of experience in Software Engineering, Product Engineering, Architecture, and Technology Leadership.

- Experience in Enterprise Architecture, AI/ML Platform Delivery, Cloud-Native Systems, Technology Solutioning, and Engineering Leadership.

- Prior experience in roles such as Technical Architect, Principal Architect, VP Engineering, Head of Engineering, or CTO Office leadership is preferred.

- B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science, Engineering, or related disciplines.
