
About the Role:
- We are looking for an experienced Procurement Manager to oversee and manage the company's purchasing activities.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing goods and services, negotiating contracts, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring procurement processes align with organizational goals.
- You will play a key role in optimizing cost, quality, and delivery timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with business objectives and maximize cost savings.
- Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing to ensure favorable agreements.
- Manage supplier relationships and conduct regular performance reviews to ensure quality and delivery standards.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (operations, finance, legal) to understand procurement needs and provide timely sourcing solutions.
- Oversee the end-to-end procurement process, including purchase requisitions, purchase orders, supplier onboarding, and compliance.
- Monitor market trends, identify potential risks and opportunities, and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Manage procurement budgets and ensure adherence to financial targets.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, legal regulations, and ethical standards in all procurement activities.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of procurement professionals.
- Utilize procurement software and ERP systems for efficient procurement operations.
- Prepare and present reports on procurement metrics, supplier performance, and cost savings to senior management.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field; MBA or professional certification (CPSM, CIPS) is a plus.
- 7+ years of progressive experience in procurement management, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Strong negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management skills.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems ( SAP, Oracle), and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of procurement best practices, policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with suppliers and internal teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
