AbsoluteLabs - Business Solution Consultant

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead retail POS (Point of Sale) solution implementations, including store setup, payment workflows, promotions, loyalty programs, inventory synchronization, and omnichannel integrations.

- Gather and analyse retail business requirements across POS operations such as billing, returns, exchanges, pricing, taxation, stock management, and customer experience optimization.

- Configure and support POS platforms, including terminal setup, user roles, receipt templates, device integrations (barcode scanners, printers, payment terminals), and store-level workflows.

- Collaborate with retail operations, merchandising, finance, and IT teams to design scalable POS solutions that improve checkout efficiency and in-store customer experience.

- Support POS integration activities with ERP, CRM, eCommerce, payment gateways, and inventory management systems to ensure seamless end-to-end retail operations.

- Conduct POS testing activities including transaction validation, promotions testing, payment reconciliation, and UAT support to ensure stable production deployments.

- Analyse retail sales and transaction data to identify operational issues, improve reporting accuracy, and support business decision-making.

- Provide post-go-live support for retail POS environments, troubleshooting production issues, coordinating incident resolution, and ensuring minimal disruption to store operations.

Requirements :

- Minimum of 5+ years experience as a Senior Consultant / Business Analyst working with Retail or Hospitality clients.

- Familiarity with industry standard cross-functional business processes.

- Proven experience in process mapping, requirements engineering, solution design, and stakeholder management.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience of managing senior client stakeholders.

- Experience working in agile or hybrid project delivery environments.

- Familiarity with typical types of applications used in Retail or Hospitality sectors such as CRM, ERP, POS, OMS, eCommerce, Client Eling, Loyalty, PIM/PLM, Booking/Reservation, Data/Analytics & Integration etc.

- Experience of leading or managing a team.
