Role Overview:
The Head of Sales will own revenue growth, customer acquisition, and strategic partnerships for AbleColds cold chain services. This is a senior leadership role requiring a strong mix of strategic thinking, hands-on selling, and team building.
You will be responsible for expanding AbleColds presence across key sectors such as seafood, frozen foods, dairy, ice cream, QSRs, and food aggregators, while building a scalable sales organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and execute the overall sales strategy aligned with AbleColds growth objectives.
- Drive new customer acquisition across temperature-controlled warehousing and transportation services.
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing sales team across multiple cities.
- Develop strong relationships with CXOs, supply chain heads, and procurement leaders of target clients.
- Identify new markets, customer segments, and strategic partnerships.
- Own the complete sales cycle: lead generation, solution design, pricing, negotiation, and closures.
- Work closely with operations and product teams to design customized cold chain solutions.
- Establish pricing strategies, margins, and commercial models for various lanes and services.
- Track sales performance, pipeline health, forecasts, and key revenue metrics.
- Represent AbleCold at industry forums, customer meetings, and strategic discussions.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 8-12 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in logistics, warehousing, supply chain, or related industries
- 4 - 5 years of direct sales experience in start up
- Demonstrable experience of sales generation through value creation for clients vs sales through just lower pricing
- Proven track record of building and scaling sales teams.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical ability with comfort in pricing, margins, and business cases.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with high ownership and ability to work in a fast-growing startup.
- Experience selling integrated logistics or supply chain solutions required
