Key Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition & Pipeline:
- Lead hiring across clinical, operational, sales, and leadership roles as the organization scales across new markets.
- Build a robust talent pipeline and reduce time-to-hire for critical roles.
- Own the end-to-end recruitment process: sourcing, assessment, offer, and onboarding.
- Partner with business and function heads to anticipate workforce needs ahead of expansion milestones.
HR Operations & Compliance:
- Build scalable HR operations - payroll, HRMS, attendance, leave, and employee records - across all centres.
- Ensure compliance with labour laws, statutory requirements, and company policies across multi-state operations.
- Develop HR policies and SOPs that scale as the organization grows beyond 10 centres.
People Development & Performance:
- Design and roll out performance appraisal frameworks that work across a diverse, distributed workforce.
- Coach managers and team leads on structured feedback, goal-setting, and performance conversations.
- Identify training and development needs and build programmes that improve both capability and retention.
Culture & Employee Experience:
- Build a culture of accountability, ownership, and care that reflects the organization's mission.
- Design and execute employee engagement initiatives that work for a geographically distributed team.
- Own onboarding experience to ensure new joiners are productive and aligned quickly.
Strategic HR Partnership:
- Work directly with the founders on org structure, workforce planning, and people strategy for the next growth phase.
- Provide leadership with timely, data-backed inputs on retention, attrition trends, and people health across the organization.
- Build and present HR dashboards and metrics that give the leadership team a clear view of the people function.
Qualifications:
- Postgraduate degree in HR - MBA or PGDM.
- 5 - 9 years of HR experience, with a meaningful stint in a high-growth startup or scaling healthcare organization.
- Proven track record of hiring at volume and speed without compromising quality - across both clinical and non-clinical profiles preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of payroll, HRMS systems, labour law compliance, and multi-state HR operations.
- Hands-on and high-energy - comfortable owning execution as much as strategy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust with teams across functions and locations.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and able to build structure where little exists.
