Job Title: Zonal Business Manager


Location: Kolkata

Job Purpose:


The Zonal Business Manager is responsible for coordinating and executing business development initiatives by analyzing market opportunities across domestic and international markets. The role focuses on driving revenue growth and achieving the companys financial and marketing objectives through strategic planning, team coordination, and successful deal execution.


Key Responsibilities:


- Lead, coordinate, and support the Business Development team to identify, evaluate, and capitalize on new business opportunities.


- Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer requirements to develop growth strategies.


- Drive the development and execution of key strategic projects and ensure successful closure of business deals.


- Plan, prepare, and present business proposals, feasibility studies, and strategic recommendations to senior management.


- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of business objectives and execution plans.


- Mentor, coach, and guide team members to enhance performance, capability, and engagement.


- Monitor progress against targets and ensure timely execution of business development initiatives.


Authority & Decision-Making:


Individual contributor with team coordination responsibility.


No direct budget ownership or hire/fire authority.


Plays a key advisory role in supporting senior management decisions.


Qualifications & Experience:


Education:


MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification in Marketing, Sales, Business Administration, or a related field.


Experience:


- Minimum 4 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or Strategic Growth roles.


- Prior experience in team coordination or mentoring roles is preferred.


Key Skills & Competencies:


- Strong business analysis and strategic thinking skills


- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities


- Proven capability in managing multiple projects and stakeholders


- Leadership mindset with a focus on mentoring and team development


- Market research and proposal development expertise
