Description:

Role Objective

- The Territory Business Manager (TBM) is responsible for achieving sales targets within the assigned territory through effective field execution, strong stakeholder relationships, and disciplined reporting, while representing the organization as a credible brand ambassador.

Key Responsibilities

- Achieve assigned territory/geography-wise sales targets.

- Execute effective fieldwork independently without direct day-to-day supervision.

- Ensure timely and accurate daily reporting of field activities through the assigned online reporting system.

- Meet prescribed Call Average, Coverage, and Frequency norms of the assigned division.

- Generate maximum prescriptions and drive growth in market share.

- Promote division products in line with approved brand strategies and promotional plans.

- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with key stakeholders including Doctors, Chemists, and Stockists.

- Provide market insights and support strategy formulation through feedback and data from the field.

- Act as a positive and professional brand ambassador for the organization at all times.

Eligibility Criteria

Education:

- B.Sc. or B. Pharma

Experience:

- Minimum 3+ years of relevant pharmaceutical sales experience

Preferred Background:

- Prior or current experience in the same therapy area

- Experience with MNCs or leading Indian pharmaceutical companies will be an added advantage

Key Skills & Competencies

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- High level of confidence and presentation ability

- Result-oriented with strong execution focus

- Ability to work independently and manage territory effectively

- Relationship-building and negotiation skills

- Regional / Area Sales Manager (as applicable)
