Main Purpose of the Role:

The Senior Manager Strategic & Digital Initiatives will be responsible for managing large-scale, complex projects from inception to completion, ensuring delivery within defined timelines, budgets, and quality parameters. The role involves strategic planning, cross-functional collaboration, and end-to-end project execution to drive organizational growth and digital transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Project Planning & Execution: Design, communicate, and implement comprehensive operational plans for project delivery. Oversee all stages of the project lifecyclefrom concept through execution and closure.

- Performance Monitoring: Track progress against established project plans, ensuring adherence to milestones and deliverables. Proactively identify and resolve operational challenges to minimize delays.

- Resource Management: Identify, acquire, and manage necessary resources (human, technical, and financial) to achieve project objectives efficiently.

- Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop detailed schedules, budgets, and forecasts; estimate project costs, timelines, and resource requirements; and monitor expenses to maintain financial discipline.

- Cross-functional Collaboration: Liaise with internal teams and external partners to secure specialized expertise and ensure seamless integration of efforts across departments.

- Stakeholder Communication: Conduct regular project review meetings and prepare detailed progress reports for senior leadership and stakeholders, highlighting risks, milestones, and achievements.

- Team Leadership: Provide direction, mentorship, and support to project staff and contractors to ensure clarity of objectives and timely completion of assigned tasks.

Key Skills & Competencies:

- Strong experience in project management and strategic initiatives across digital or business transformation domains

- Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously

- Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills

- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, or Asana)

- Strong analytical and budgeting capabilities

Educational Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field (Masters preferred)

- PMP / PRINCE2 certification or equivalent will be an added advantage
