Job Title: Regional Sales Manager


Main Purpose of Role:


The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth within the designated territory while leading and supervising a team of professionals. The role involves developing strong customer relationships, ensuring effective execution of sales strategies, and mentoring team members to achieve business objectives. This is a first-line management role, focusing on coaching and coordination, typically without direct budget or hire/fire authority.


Key Responsibilities:


- Lead, supervise, and mentor a team of 2 or more sales professionals, ensuring alignment with company objectives.

- Promote and sell the organizations products across multiple channels within the assigned territory.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with specialists, physicians, pharmacies, and distributors to drive sales and market penetration.

- Develop and execute territory-specific strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.

- Monitor performance metrics, analyze sales reports, and recommend improvement initiatives.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, operations, supply chain) to ensure smooth product availability and customer satisfaction.

- Provide regular coaching, training, and performance feedback to team members to enhance capabilities.

- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards in all sales activities.


Candidate Profile:


Education: MBA (Sales/Marketing specialization preferred).

Experience: Proven experience in sales management, with exposure to pharmaceutical/healthcare/FMCG domains preferred.


- Strong leadership, mentoring, and people management skills.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.

- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and make informed decisions.

- Self-motivated, result-driven, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
