Job Title: Regional Manager - Business Development

Main Purpose of the Role:

The Regional Manager - Business Development is responsible for driving all business development initiatives within the assigned region. The role involves managing complex projects, developing new processes, and providing strategic and financial expertise to support sustainable business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development & Strategy:

- Lead and execute all business development activities across the assigned region.

- Identify, evaluate, and develop new business opportunities in line with organizational goals.

- Support strategic planning through market analysis, feasibility studies, and opportunity assessments.

Project Management & Process Development:


- Manage projects of complex scope from concept through execution.

- Develop and implement new processes and frameworks to meet evolving project requirements.

- Design projects that align with financial, operational, legal, regulatory, and compliance criteria.

Financial & Technical Expertise:

- Serve as a subject matter expert in financial analysis, including economic modeling and discounted cash flow (DCF) analysis.

- Conduct in-depth financial evaluations, business cases, and investment appraisals.

- Demonstrate strong understanding of financial, tax, legal, and regulatory considerations impacting projects.

Decision-Making & Problem Solving:

- Apply independent judgment within established policies and practices to select appropriate methodologies and solutions.

- Analyze complex business challenges and recommend effective, data-driven solutions.

Leadership & Team Development:

- Provide direction, guidance, and coaching to junior and mid-level professionals.

- Ensure knowledge sharing, capability development, and adherence to best practices across the team.

Qualifications:

Education:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.

- Master's degree (MBA or equivalent) is preferred.

Experience & Skills:

- Proven experience in business development, strategy, or project management roles.

- Strong expertise in financial modeling, economic analysis, and valuation techniques.

- Sound understanding of regulatory, legal, and tax frameworks relevant to business operations.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

- Ability to manage multiple complex initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
