Description:
- Design, develop and implement innovative scientific strategies both long and short term to support overall EPD 2025 vision of Be the company that transforms the way people of India use medicines .
- Develop, maintain, and leverage relationships with top 300+ KOLs across therapeutic area.
- External advocacy with topmost stakeholders across major 30+ govt/ non govt institutes/ agencies for effective implementation of One EPD projects.
- Support medical affairs team with scientific competitive intelligence across therapeutic areas in partnership with external agencies.
- Support medical affairs team to gather strategic therapeutic insights from top KOLs for NPIs/ LoEs.
- Implement scientific outreach and access strategy for EPD business utilizing digital tools.
- Drive initiatives to enhance Medical Affairs capability in digital space.
- Plays a key influencer role in developing medico marketing plans for relevant EPD business unit supporting the marketing manager/ business heads to utilize strategic growth levers based on situation analysis.
- Drive innovative programs in collaboration with top medical societies and use of new media for the different business to create differentiation at the marketplace.
Core Job Responsibilities:- Independently drive innovative initiatives to establish continuous engagement with over 1000 + KOLs spanning across 12 therapeutic area covering 35 business units in three affiliates.
- Liaising and collaboration with top executives of State/ Regional medical associations across 35 branches spanning 25 states for impactful implementation of Abbott corporate scientific initiatives.
- Collaboration and partnership with 20 + key medical associations / societies at pan India and state level.
- External advocacy and key stakeholder management including KOLs, hospital/institution decision making authorities, scientific advocacy groups both at public/govt and corporate set up.
- Closely work with EPD digital team for scientific outreach of ACare platform covering three affiliates.
- Working closely with finance, purchase, legal and compliance team for preparation and finalization of contracts with external stakeholders, medical societies, institutes and KOLs.
- Collaboration and coordinate with publishers to ensure publication of EPD Indias clinical studies and position paper involving three affiliates.
- Individually develop and drive transformative EPD India medical projects.
- Lead and manage Abbotts participation in National medical conferences including contract with organizers.
- Design and plan execution parameters for successful implementation of Abbott signature program across various business units across three affiliates.
- Drive/ support to develop society and institutional relationships for both medical affairs and business team.
- On demand support for medical affairs/ commercial team for strategic initiatives in the focused therapeutic areas of Gastroenterology, Diabetes and Metabolic Diseases , Cardiology, Psychiatry, Adult Immunization, Insomnia and importance of Vitamin C in building immunity.
Key Competency Requirement:- Know the business.
- Good understanding of pharma market, trends and ability to drive medicomarketing actions based on data.
- Strong analytical, datacrunching and stakeholder management skills.
- Background of driving high quality medico-marketing initiatives highly preferable.
- Techsavy / knowledge of digital healthcare.

Education:- MBBS/ Pharmacy graduate / Science graduate with MBA from reputed institute.
Experience:- At least 3-7 years of experience in Consulting/ Pharma industry with experience in handling digital projects / scientific corporate projects at strategic level.
- Candidate can be from an MNC working currently as a Manager Marketing Excellence/ Group Product Manager / Consultant.
