Description:

MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE:

- Responsible for meeting the agreed and committed topline plans for the year for each category / brands and beating market growth objectives.

- Drive top-line, market share and bottom-line targets for the division.

- Accountable for budgeting, business planning, sales force organization.

- Maintaining control of operating budget, delivering on both top line and bottom line.

- Direct marketing and sales activities to ensure that short and long range sales volumes and projects are achieved.

- Collaborating with product development team to implement product modifications or improvements of product line.

- Life cycle management which anticipates and serves a customer need / solution approach for brands.

- Conduct research as per the brand need (analyze customer behavior, perceptionattribute mapping, etc.) and design strategies accordingly.

- Undertake feasibility analysis/ market research for new opportunities.

- Develop and implement Annual Operating Plan for brand portfolio.

- Undertake fieldwork to capture insights.

- Effectively collaborate with sales team and cross functional stakeholders for buy-in of strategies to internal customers and ensure strong implementation of designed strategies.

- Actively drive engagement with sales team conduct CSM and other sales meetings to drive excitement.

- Ensure quality and timely delivery/execution of campaign collaterals/inputs/activities to field force.

- Effectively coordinate with other functional areas within organization e. Medical, Training, Regulatory, OEC, Promo team, Supply Chain, Finance etc.

Education:

Skill, Education, Experience:

- Graduate in Science / Pharmacy.

- MBA/PGDBA in Sales and Marketing.

Experience:

- 20+ years of experience across Sales and Marketing in the Pharmaceutical/Healthcare industry.

- Incumbent currently in the Associate Director, Business Unit role would be considered.

- The incumbent should have Sales and Marketing Experience along with Team Management experience of 3 years.

- Exposure to managing Key Accounts / dealing with Key Opinion Leaders.

- Experience in managing new launches, business turnaround.

Skill:

- Excellent Communication Skills.

- Functional & Technical Knowledge on therapy areas owned and other therapies in the division.

- Demonstrates creativity, innovation and drive for results.

- Ability to influence, lead and work with cross functional teams.

- Analytical skills and good Financial Acumen.

- Strategic thinking, Problem solving and decision making skills.

- Planning and organizing skills for short term and long term.

- Time management and multi-tasking skills.

Supervisory Responsibility:

- Sales & Marketing Team: 500+ (including Marketing Team, National Sales Managers and Field teams).
