Main Purpose of the Role
The role is responsible for coordinating and executing activities related to the identification, analysis, and development of business opportunities across domestic and international markets. The objective is to support the companys financial growth and marketing goals through structured market analysis, strategic planning, and successful execution of key business initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and support the evaluation, analysis, and development of new business opportunities in domestic and international markets.
- Oversee and coordinate the activities of the business development team to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
- Guide the team in conducting market research, competitor analysis, and feasibility studies to identify growth opportunities.
- Support the formulation and execution of business growth strategies and expansion plans.
- Lead and contribute to the development of key business projects and initiatives.
- Participate in negotiations and support the successful closure of business deals and partnerships.
- Plan, prepare, and review business proposals, presentations, and pitch documents.
- Provide structured analysis, insights, and recommendations to senior management to support strategic decision-making.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders across sales, marketing, finance, and operations to ensure seamless execution of business initiatives.
- Focus on mentoring, coaching, and coordinating team members to enhance performance and capability.
- Ensure timely reporting and documentation of business development activities and outcomes.
Authority & Accountability
- Typically operates without direct budget ownership or hire/fire authority.
- Accountable for coordination, execution quality, and timely delivery of assigned business development initiatives.
Education & Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
- MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification preferred.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams
