Headquartered in Mumbai, the company operates with a strong presence in both Indian and global markets, serving institutional, corporate, and retail clients. Profile: Product Manager, Post-Trade Operations & Risk

Location: Nariman Point, Mumbai

Experience: 4-7 yrs

About the Role:

This role is about the operational backbone of a trading firm. You will ensure every trade is accounted for, every position is risk-managed, every rupee is reconciled, and every report reaches the right desk on time. The scope includes clearing and settlement workflows, post-trade risk monitoring, margin and exposure management, reconciliation across counterparties and systems, regulatory and management reporting, and the accounting integrations that tie it all together.

Here's what makes this role distinctive. Our engineering team builds and maintains FinLego, our low-code platform for financial services. Its the engine that powers all our products. Your job is to harness FinLego to design and build post-trade applications, while simultaneously feeding requirements back to the platform team when you hit limitations. You're not just writing specs. You're building, and your real-world experience shapes FinLego itself.

Key Responsibilities:

- Deeply understand how trading firms operate after a trade is executed. This means the full chain from trade confirmation through clearing, settlement, risk assessment, reconciliation, and final reporting

- Figure out how data should flow between trading systems, clearing systems, exchanges, and accounting software, and build integrations.

- Own the FinLego platform and Identify where it needs new capabilities and drive those requirements with the engineering team. Your implementation experience directly shapes what the platform becomes

- Build post-trade products on FinLego that transform these manual, error-prone processes into reliable, intuitive workflows. The bar is that an operations analyst with a week of training should be able to run end-of-day without panic

- Spend significant time with operations, risk, and finance teams at client firms. Sit with them during end-of-day, watch where things break, and understand which reconciliation breaks cause real pain vs. which are noise

- Design exception-handling workflows that surface real problems early rather than burying them in spreadsheets until someone notices three days later

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- 4 to 7 years of experience in product management, operations, or business analysis within financial services, ideally somewhere you've seen the post-trade world up close (broking, clearing, treasury, risk, or back-office operations at a trading firm)

- You understand the post-trade lifecycle. Not necessarily every detail, but you know what happens between a trade being struck and it appearing in the books, and you know why reconciliation breaks, settlement failures, and margin calls matter

- Product design sensibility. You instinctively simplify rather than replicate. When someone shows you their 47-tab reconciliation spreadsheet, your first thought is how do we make this 3 screens? not how do we digitize all 47 tabs?

- Comfortable in the field. You'd rather spend a day at a clients operations desk during market close than in a meeting about prioritization frameworks

- Hands-on builder mentality. Youve worked with configurable or low-code platforms and can design and implement solutions yourself, not just write specs for someone else to build

- Systems thinker. You can see how data flows across trading, clearing, risk, and accounting and can spot where things will break before they do

- Strong communication skills. You can translate an operations teams daily chaos into clear product requirements that an engineer can build from

Good to Have:

- Direct experience at a clearing member, broking house, or trading firms operations or risk function

- Familiarity with exchange clearing and settlement processes

- Experience with accounting system integrations (Tally or similar)

- Background in commodities, bullion, or related markets

- Experience building on enterprise or low-code platforms

What we Offer:

- Define what post-trade software should look like for an industry that's still running on spreadsheets. This product category barely exists for mid-market trading firms

- Work directly with operations teams and see your product turn their most stressful hour of the day into a routine process

- Be part of a company building essential infrastructure for the trading industry

- Competitive compensation with a clear path to product leadership
