About Abans Investment Managers :


Abans Investment Managers functions as the in-house wealth management arm of the ABANS Group, currently mobilizing AUM of approximately 1,500 Cr (as of Feb 2026) across products such as Market Linked Debentures (MLDs), Portfolio Management Services (PMS), and Offshore Funds.


Role Overview :


We are currently looking to onboard a Senior Business Development leader for our in-house wealth platform Abans Investment Managers.


The role goes beyond traditional distributionit requires a strong network across HNIs/UHNIs, family offices, institutions, and global investors, along with the ability to build new channels, open strategic partnerships, and drive fresh AUM inflows across MLDs, PMS, and Offshore Funds.


Were specifically looking for someone who has successfully built and scaled AUM through new relationships and innovative market approaches, especially in relatively untapped or underpenetrated segments. will be responsible for building and scaling the HNI/UHNI client franchise, driving fund raising for PMS and other investment products, and strengthening long-term client relationships. The role requires strong client acquisition skills, deep product knowledge, and a proven distribution track record.

Key Responsibilities :


Client Acquisition & Relationship Management :

- Acquire and manage HNI / UHNI clients for PMS and other investment products.

- Build long-term client relationships through regular engagement, reviews, and advisory discussions.

- Understand client financial goals and align suitable investment solutions.

Fund Raising & Distribution :


- Drive fund raising for PMS, AIFs, and other proprietary / third-party investment products.

- Leverage existing client networks and referral channels to grow AUM.

- Work closely with investment and product teams to position strategies effectively to clients.


Business Development :

- Contribute to scaling the wealth management business through new client onboarding and wallet share expansion.

- Support launch and distribution of new investment strategies and products.

- Track market trends and competitor offerings to refine client pitches.

Client Communication & Reporting :


- Conduct portfolio reviews and performance discussions with clients.

- Address client queries related to investments, market outlook, and portfolio positioning.

- Ensure high service standards and client satisfaction.

Compliance & Governance :


- Ensure adherence to SEBI, internal compliance, and documentation requirements.

- Maintain KYC, onboarding, and client communication records as per regulatory guidelines.


Candidate Requirements :


Experience :

- 1020+ years of experience in Wealth Management, Private Banking, or Investment Distribution.

- Strong fund-raising track record in PMS / AIF / Alternatives.

- Prior experience with reputed banks, wealth management firms, or investment managers.

- Proven ability to acquire and manage HNI / UHNI relationships.

Education & Certifications :


- Graduate in Commerce / Finance / Economics, MBA / PGDM in Finance preferred.

- Mandatory : NISM Series XXI-B Portfolio Managers Certification.

- CFA or equivalent qualification is an added advantage.

Skills & Competencies :


- Excellent client acquisition and relationship management skills.

- Strong understanding of PMS, equity markets, alternatives, and structured products.

- Commercial mindset with AUM growth orientation.

- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills..
