Aakash Educational Services - Senior Manager - Financial Planning & Analysis

Job Description:

1. Budgeting & Forecasting:

- Lead the annual operating plan, budgeting process and periodic forecasting activities.

- Collaborate with business units to gather inputs, compile, and ensure alignment with organizational strategic goals.

2. Financial Analysis:

- Conduct variance analysis between actuals, budgets, and forecasts, identifying key trends and variances. Analyze financial and operational data to provide actionable insights & recommendations.

3. Strategic Planning Support:

- Assist in the development of long-term strategic plans, incorporating market trends and business priorities. Build financial models, scenarios & predictive analysis to support decision-making aligning with organizational strategic goals.

4. Reporting & Presentations:

- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial dashboards, presentations, and reports for senior management and stakeholders. Develop and monitor KPIs to track business performance.

5. Process Improvement:

- Identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency in financial planning and MIS reporting. Implement best practices in financial processes and tools to get the meaningful reports / Dash Boards.

6. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

- Partner with departments such as Business, Branch Staff, operations, Commercial, marketing, and IT to align financial strategies with business objectives. Act as a financial advisor to key stakeholders for critical decision-making.

Skills Required:

a. Chartered Accountant (CA) with 7-10 years of relevant experience in FP&A or a similar role

b. Hands on experience in financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis.

c. Experience in consulting / Big 4 firms is added advantage, should have worked on Due diligences.

d. Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, and financial planning tools.

e. Experience with ERP systems like SAP, or similar. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills

f. Excellent communication and presentation abilities

g. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under tight deadlines.
