A2 Learning - Head - Growth

The Company:

A2 Learning is building a new industry-led finance business school, in Mumbai, with the ambition of becoming Asias leading finance school over the next decade. This initiative is backed by 30 CEOs from the BFSI industry.

Inspired by institutions such as NYU Stern, this is being built as Indias first finance-native institute - an autonomous school dedicated exclusively to financial services with our campus in the heart of the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

This is a founding team role with end-to-end ownership of the growth of the institute - starting from one program in one domain to multiple programs across multiple domains.

Short Term - Build the Growth Engine:

- Drive enrolments - Deliver student enrolment targets for each cohort.

- Improve conversion - Identify and fix bottlenecks across the admissions funnel.

- Build partnerships - Develop relationships with colleges, parents, students and ecosystem partners.

- Build growth systems - Establish the CRM, outreach processes, reporting and playbooks.

- Build market presence - Represent the institute effectively across students, parents, colleges and partners.

Medium Term - Own & Scale Programs:

- Own program P&L - Take end-to-end ownership of the revenue, costs and profitability of programs.

- Grow existing programs - Identify and execute opportunities to increase enrolments, pricing, revenue and margins.

- Launch new programs - Identify market opportunities and take new programs from concept to launch.

- Build new growth channels - Develop scalable channels for student acquisition and institutional partnerships.

- Build the portfolio - Help shape the institutes program portfolio based on market demand, economics and strategic fit.

Who We're Looking For:

Essential:

- A career that began in the markets. Experience in Investment banking, equity research, capital markets, or asset management - ideally at a global firm.

- Real knowledge of the industry and its gaps. You know where financial services talent is genuinely underprepared, and closing that gap is part of why this role appeals to you.

- Strong executive presence. You can represent the institution credibly with prospective students, their parents, and channel partners.

We have not set a required number of years. A demonstrable record against several of the points above - with the judgement and appetite the role demands - will count for considerably more.
