THE COMPANY:

We are building India's first dedicated institution for finance. A purpose-built institution designed for the top tier of talent in banking, financial services, and investing. The curriculum is being co-created with industry leaders, authored by practitioners, and reviewed by an academic council drawn from leading Indian and global institutions. The institution is currently being built in Mumbai, with the inaugural cohort expected in 2027. This is a rare opportunity to help shape an institution from the ground up while many of its defining decisions are still being made.

THE ROLE

Every industry led institution has one person who is the relationship between them. The person a CXO takes a call from without checking their calendar first. That's this role.

You will be the reason serious people, the ones who've spent twenty years building reputations they don't lend out lightly, decide to lend theirs to something that doesn't have a track record yet. You are asking a Managing Director, a CIO, a CHRO who has seen a hundred pitches to put their name, their time, and their judgment behind an institution that is still being built. That ask only works if you've stood where they stand.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

- Build the practitioner faculty bench - CXOs, fund managers, credit heads, dealmakers who actually shape what gets taught and why

- Convene and chair the Industry Senates - one per specialisation, each one run by practitioners who author the curriculum.

- Own the relationships with the CHROs and talent leadership at India's major BFSI institutions, the people whose hiring decisions will be the real scorecard for this place

- Show up where BFSI leadership actually talks - the closed-door rooms, the invite-only forums, the conversations that don't happen on panels

- Keep a live, sharpened read on where BFSI talent is headed, and push that intelligence back into the institution before the curriculum falls behind it

WHO THIS IS FOR

- 10-15 years in a senior operating seat in finance - banker, portfolio manager, advisor, product leader inside a financial institution.

- You have a strong interest in education (visiting faculty / eventual educator)

- You have never run a centre of excellence. Your credibility was built on the desk, in the room, on the deal.
