PMO (Project Management Officer) Job Description: As the PMO Manager you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing a range of critical functions that are essential for the efficient operation of our business unit. Support the service delivery team(s) in managing resources, projects, and budgets to meet the goals of the business and clients. Your extensive experience in P&L management, budget forecasting, revenue forecasting, and various financial operations will be instrumental in ensuring our financial success and operational effectiveness. Key Responsibilities: 1. P&L Management: - Working with Project/Unit Owners (Project Managers/Delivery Heads, etc.) by performing trend and variance analysis between Actual/Forecast and Budget on key performance indicators like Revenue, Margin, Utilization, Realization, etc. - Develop, maintain, and analyze profit and loss statements for the business unit. - Identify opportunities for cost reduction and revenue optimization. - Provide strategic financial insights to senior management. - Reconciliation of the actuals from finance/ forecast 2. Budget Forecasting: - Collaborate with department heads to create annual budgets. - Monitor and track budget performance, identifying areas of concern. - Develop and implement strategies to meet budgetary goals. 3. Revenue Forecasting and Management: - Forecast revenue trends and work to ensure targets are met. - Implement revenue management strategies to maximize profitability. - Continuously assess and adapt revenue-related processes. 4. Customer Invoicing: - Oversee the accurate and timely invoicing process for clients. - Ensure compliance with contract terms and billing requirements. - Address client inquiries and discrepancies related to invoices. 5. Revenue Collections: - Manage the accounts receivable process and collection efforts. - Monitor payment schedules and follow up on overdue accounts. - Develop strategies to enhance cash flow and minimize bad debt. 6. Project Status Tracking: - Establish and maintain project tracking systems and tools. - Collaborate with project managers to gather and update project status information. - Prepare reports and dashboards to provide real-time insights into project progress. 7. OEM Payments Tracking: - Monitor and track payments from original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and partners. - Ensure accuracy and timeliness of OEM payments. - Reconcile discrepancies and resolve payment-related issues. 8. Operational Efficiency: - Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline business unit operations. - Develop and maintain KPIs and metrics to measure operational performance. QUALIFICATIONS & Desired Skill: - Bachelor's/PG degree in business administration, Finance, or a related field - 8-12 years of relevant experience in P&L management, budget forecasting, revenue forecasting, and financial management. - Strong financial analysis skills and a deep understanding of budgeting and forecasting processes. - Expertise in contract terms, billing procedures, accounts receivable, and financial operations. - Exceptional communication, leadership, and team management skills. - Proficiency in project management tools and financial software. - Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. - Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. - Self-motivated, driven individual who is comfortable working in a global, fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environment. - Ability to prepare meaningful and crisp presentations and present (story telling) to all levels of leadership.
