About the Company - Everhope Oncology is on a mission to transform cancer care by making high-quality treatment more accessible, patient-friendly, and closer to home. Backed by Narayana Health, one of India's leading hospital systems, W Health Ventures, a healthcare venture capital firm, and 2070 Health, a healthcare-focused venture studio, Everhope has secured $10 million in seed funding to establish a nationwide network of medical and surgical oncology facilities.

Starting in Delhi and Mumbai, Everhope plans to expand to 10 cities over the next three years, bringing expert-led early diagnosis, daycare chemotherapy, and surgical oncology to locations where patients need them most.

India faces a growing cancer burden, with over 150 million people expected to be diagnosed in their lifetime. Everhope is tackling this challenge head-on by creating smaller, strategically located centers that eliminate the logistical and emotional barriers to care.

We are hiring a Senior Finance Manager for this venture who will help in financial planning, compliance and scaling the business.

Key Responsibilities

1. Finance Management- Ensure accurate and timely consolidation of financial statements for associates and subsidiary entities, aligning with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies to provide a clear financial picture to stakeholders.

2. Regulatory & Audit Compliance: Ensure adherence to taxation laws (GST, direct taxation), respond to audit requests, conduct financial due diligence, and perform field visits to verify compliance.

3. Coordination for Financial Due Diligence: Engage with internal teams & vendors on bookkeeping & regular compliance. Ensure adherence to taxation laws (GST, direct taxation), respond to audit requests for financial due diligence.

4. Budgeting & Financial Planning: Lead budget development for proposals, prepare budget narratives, ensure approvals, and maintain budget trackers for continuous monitoring.

5. Managing Team: Lead and mentor the finance team, ensuring efficient workflow, skill development, and alignment with organizational goals while fostering a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

At least 6-10 years of experience in finance management in healthcare domain is preferred, including team leadership.

Chartered Accountant (CA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA): Professional accounting qualification is mandatory.

Expertise in financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling.

In-depth knowledge of capital markets, valuation techniques, and investor relations.
