Ways of working: Mandate 3 Employees will work full-time from their base location - Bangalore. About Swiggy Instamart: Swiggy Instamart is building the convenience grocery segment in India. We offer more than 30000+ assortments / products to our customers within 10-15 mins. We are striving to augment our consumer promise of enabling unparalleled convenience by making grocery delivery instant and delightful. Instamart has been operating in 90+ cities across India and plan to expand to a few more soon. We have seen immense love from the customers till now and are excited to redefine how India shops. Roles & Expectations: - Owner of overall planning & review processes & systems for overall Instamart growth - owns and leads all internal rituals such as Daily/Weekly/Monthly Business Reviews & Daily/Weekly Monthly operating plans for ensuring we stay course across topline (OPD/GMV), user (TU/frequency/retention) & revenue (fees/discounts) metrics. - Stitch together plans across growth subfunctions and take real time decisions on capital deployment et al to make sure that we are minimizing the gap to plan at an overall platform level. - Work with cross-functional teams / stakeholders (eg. Category/Storefront/City/Operations teams) to be the central POC within the team for identifying opportunities and risks that require cross functional collaboration for the delivery of daily/weekly topline numbers. - Drive governance - weekly progress of programs & OPD building blocks and accountability to meet monthly Input & Output targets. - Prepare narratives that explain overall growth performance to key stakeholders such as the CEO of Instamart, Board, Investor Presentations etc. Preferred Candidate: - Work experience across Management Consulting (or) Consumer strategy / Business Finance in Consumer tech companies. - First-principles thinking: building hypotheses of factors influencing target metric, learnings from past successful/ failed experiments and designing new solutions. - Data-first thinking to interpret trends and conclude insights post bias-removal. - Should have a P&L thought process, trade-offs that need to be made and impact of various decision on different line items of the P&L. - Strong execution rigor - bias for action while also being comfortable in ambiguous environments. - Ability to effectively communicate across stakeholders across functions and positions. - Has worked in a cross functional environment having managed stakeholders including peers, seniors, juniors on whom there is high dependency to deliver ones own goal. - We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regards to race, color, religion, sex, disability status, or any other characteristic protected by the law.
