
- The Program Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day orchestration and delivery of complex CRM and safety culture transformation programmes, ensuring disciplined execution across sites, workstreams, and stakeholders.
- This role is the engine of delivery, translating strategy into action, tracking progress, resolving issues, and maintaining momentum over multiyear programmes.
Key Responsibilities:
Programme delivery & coordination:
- Manage end-to-end delivery of CRM programmes across multiple sites and workstreams.
- Develop and maintain detailed programme plans, milestones, and dependencies.
- Coordinate site assessments, training, coaching, surveys, and governance forums.
- Ensure delivery remains aligned to agreed objectives, timelines, and outcomes.
Performance tracking & reporting:
- Track progress against CRM maturity, behavioral indicators, and control effectiveness.
- Integrate insights from site assessments, surveys, and verification data.
- Prepare clear, executive- ready reports for steering committees and senior leadership.
- Highlight risks, issues, and corrective actions early and transparently.
Stakeholder management:
- Act as the primary coordination point between ERM, client teams, and delivery partners.
- Support site leaders and supervisors in understanding programme expectations.
- Ensure consistency of messaging, tools, and approaches across locations.
- Facilitate problem- solving where operational realities challenge programme design.
Quality and discipline:
- Ensure that CRM activities remain focused on fatal risk reduction, not compliance volume.
- Maintain discipline around action closure, escalation, and follow- through.
- Support the Senior Director in ensuring consistency and technical integrity of delivery.
- Capture lessons learned and feed them back into programme refinement.
Essential:
Experience and background:
- 8-12 years of experience in safety, risk management, or operational improvement roles.
- Experience managing large, multi- site programmes in metals or mining environments.
- Solid understanding of critical risk management, safety systems, and field execution.
- Strong programme management skills, including planning, tracking, and reporting.
- Comfort operating between frontline teams and senior leadership.
Highly desirable:
- Experience supporting or implementing CRM / CCM programmes.
- Exposure to international mining operations or global programmes.
- Consulting or advisory experience alongside operational delivery.
