Role Overview :

As an Analyst/Senior Analyst in Data Analytics (Financial Research), you will be instrumental in extracting, analyzing, and interpreting complex financial data to support investment decisions and research initiatives. Your day-to-day activities will involve working with large datasets related to reference data, corporate actions, and capital markets.


You will collaborate closely with research analysts, portfolio managers, and technology teams to deliver actionable insights. Your work will directly impact the accuracy and efficiency of our financial analysis, contributing to better-informed investment strategies and improved client outcomes.

Key Responsibilities :

- Extract, cleanse, and transform financial data from various sources, including vendors, regulatory filings, and internal databases, to ensure data quality and consistency for research purposes.

- Conduct in-depth analysis of corporate actions, IPOs, and credit analysis data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that inform investment recommendations.

- Develop and maintain data models, dashboards, and reports to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights to research analysts and portfolio managers.

- Collaborate with technology teams to improve data infrastructure, automate data processes, and enhance data accessibility for the financial research team.

- Support ad-hoc data requests and analytical projects from various stakeholders, delivering timely and accurate results that meet their specific needs.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated ability to analyze large datasets using tools such as SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), or R to extract meaningful insights.

- Proven experience in financial research, with a strong understanding of reference data, corporate actions, capital markets, IPOs, and credit analysis.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex data findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and adapt to changing priorities.

- Experience of 1-3 years in relevant field.
