Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth primary and secondary research across personal finance, markets, macroeconomics, insurance, taxation, and wealth management.
- Analyze financial concepts, data trends, regulatory updates, and economic developments to generate actionable insights.
- Prepare research notes, summaries, and data-backed viewpoints for editorial content.
- Validate information, fact-check numbers, and maintain high accuracy across all research outputs.
- Collaborate with internal subject matter experts (SMEs), planners, and analysts for content inputs and validation.
- Write well-structured, engaging articles for the Magazine.
- Support the editorial team with drafts, outlines, story ideas, data excerpts, and research inputs.
- Convert detailed finance research into simplified, consumer-friendly content without losing depth or accuracy.
- Assist in editing, proofreading, and refining content to ensure clarity, consistency, and brand alignment.
- Develop content for multi-format needsblogs, long-form articles, infographics, social posts, and emailers.
- Work closely with the Magazine Editor, Creative, and Research teams for seamless content production.
- Stay updated on industry trends and propose relevant article topics, angles, and research themes.
Qualification & Experience:
- Bachelors or Masters in Finance or Economics or related fields.
- Certifications such as CFP & CFA Level 2 preferred.
- 3 to 6 years of experience in financial research, content writing, or editorial roles (fintech, personal finance preferred).
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong understanding of personal finance, investments, markets, and financial planning concepts.
- Proficiency in research methodologies, data interpretation, and analytical reasoning.
- Excellent command over English writinggrammar, structure, and storytelling.
- Ability to simplify complex information into crisp, accurate content.
- Meticulous with details, thorough with research.
- Ability to work under deadlines while maintaining high-quality output.
