The organization plays a critical role in reducing post-harvest losses and strengthening Indias food security through scientific, tech enabled warehouse management systems across its growing network of state-of-the-art agri warehouses. With the company at a pivotal inflexion point, poised for its next phase of rapid growth, we are looking to connect with seasoned finance professionals for the role of CFO: Position : CFO Location : Chandigarh Role Summary: - The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will lead the financial operations of the company and play a critical role in driving sustainable growth. - As a key member of the leadership team, the CFO will be responsible for shaping financial strategy, ensuring robust controls and compliance, leading debt fund-raising initiatives, and enabling data-driven decision-making through financial insights and analytics. - The ideal candidate will bring strong financial acumen, leadership maturity, and deep experience in managing finance in a fast-growing, capital-intensive environment. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Financial Leadership: - Serve as a strategic advisor to the CEO and management team on financial and business matters. - Lead budgeting, financial planning, forecasting, and scenario analysis in alignment with growth objectives. - Design financial strategies to enhance profitability, improve capital efficiency, and support expansion plans. Accounting, Controls & Compliance: - Oversee the finance and accounting functions ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting. - Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, Ind-AS and other applicable standards. - Strengthen internal controls, ERP systems, and financial governance frameworks. - Manage relationships with statutory and internal auditors, regulators, and tax authorities. MIS & Business Analytics: - Develop and maintain comprehensive MIS, dashboards, and analytical tools for performance monitoring. - Enable business units with timely insights to drive data-backed decision-making. - Track and report on key KPIs and variance analysis to support operational reviews. Debt Fund Raising & Capital Structuring: - Lead fundraising from banks, NBFCs, and financial institutions to meet business needs. - Optimize working capital management, treasury operations, and cash flow forecasting. - Review capital structure periodically and implement strategies to minimize cost of funds. Stakeholder Management & Strategic Projects: - Maintain strong relationships with existing and potential investors, lenders, and financial partners. - Support due diligence, valuations, and financial modelling for potential PE investment or IPO preparedness (experience preferred but not mandatory). - Partner with business leaders on M&A, capex evaluation, and operational expansion projects. Qualifications & Experience: - Education: CA and/or MBA in Finance from a reputed institution. - Experience: 15-20 years of experience in finance leadership roles, preferably in logistics, infrastructure, or capital-intensive businesses. - Proven experience in core accounting, MIS and analytics, and debt fund raising is essential. - Experience with PE funding or IPO readiness will be an added advantage. - Hands-on, detail-oriented leader with the ability to operate both strategically and tactically.

Chief Financial Officer - Agri Warehousing Sector 

Head of Operations Leading Warehousing Company (Agri Commodities) Location: Chandigarh Our client, a leading warehousing company in India specializing in agricultural commodities, is on an exciting growth journey. With state-of-the-art warehouses, the company is committed to reducing post-harvest losses and strengthening food security through scientific and efficient warehouse management. As the company enters its next phase of rapid expansion, it is seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Operations to lead its operations across Punjab. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, build a strong career, and contribute to a critical sector of national importance. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee operations across 10 warehouse sites in Punjab, managing a workforce of 650+ through Site Managers. - Ensure smooth day-to-day operations with optimum resource utilization, cost efficiency, and timely MIS reporting. - Maintain strong working relationships with senior officials of FCI and PUNGRAIN to align storage requirements and ensure timely dispatches. - Ensure timely collection of rent from FCI or its nodal agencies without deductions. - Maintain accurate records for compliance with FCI tenders and ensure storage losses remain within prescribed norms. - Conduct regular warehouse inspections with a focus on operational and financial controls. - Oversee procurement of supplies (including chemicals and accessories) for scientific grain storage, ensuring adherence to re-order levels and economic order quantities. - Represent the company in interactions with government bodies. - Track and update management on industry developments, including SILO-based storage systems, and prepare tenders (conventional and SILO). Candidate Profile: - 10-15 years of proven experience in warehousing operations, with strong exposure to agricultural commodities. - High energy, self-driven, with strong ownership and accountability. - Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and leadership skills. - Ability to manage multi-site operations and influence across functions. - Strong planning and execution balance; willing to roll up sleeves when needed.
