Key Responsibilities: - Lead the Formulation Development (F&D) team, ensuring smooth execution of multiple projects - Develop and optimize formulations for solid orals, injectables, liquids, or other dosage forms (as per company portfolio) - Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines (USFDA, EU, WHO, etc.) and company quality standards - Manage end-to-end product development from pre-formulation to scale-up and technology transfer - Oversee team performance, mentoring, and capability building for scientists and junior staff - Collaborate with QA, QC, RA, and Production teams for seamless project execution - Drive innovation in formulation strategies, cost optimization, and process improvements - Review, approve, and ensure accuracy of technical documents, reports, and dossiers Key Skills & Competencies: - Strong expertise in formulation R&D with proven team handling experience (mandatory) - In-depth knowledge of pharma development life cycle, regulatory frameworks, and technology transfer - Excellent leadership, planning, and execution skills - Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle complex projects - Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration skills Qualifications: - M.Pharm / Ph.D in Pharmaceutics / Pharmaceutical Sciences - 10-15 years of experience in formulation development & team leadership
